About
the LIGCA
The London International
Gallery of Children's Art (LIGCA) was founded in 1993 at Southbank
International School in Hampstead. In 1999 we moved to a small gallery
space, donated by the O2 Centre which was officially opened by Glenda
Jackson, MP for Hampstead and Highgate.
In October 2008 we moved to Waterlow Park Centre, Highgate, donated
by Camden Council.
LIGCA regrets to announce that it will no longer be
based at the Waterlow Park Centre, but will maintain
its presence online, and operate as an educational outreach
project.
Everyone
at LIGCA would like to thank those who supported the gallery
during its time in Waterlow Park. Please check the website
for any updates on the status of the gallery, or contact
info@ligca.org

The LIGCA hosts
exhibitions of children's art from every corner of the world including
artwork by local children. We run a schools education programme
relating to these exhibitions, including exhibition tours, workshops
in the gallery and outreach work. Out of school hours, we offer
an exciting range of art workshops and courses catering for 2-12
year olds.
